Ana Updates 008 December 10th 2008 (English)

December 10th


First of all thank you for the continuous flow of messages full of love and support, please understand that I just don’t time to answer each one individually, but I do read and enjoy every single one.

The struggle for Ana’s wellbeing will be long and difficult. There will be better moments and difficult moments but we can’t lose sight of our North.

The updates are mixed.

We have the biopsy results and we have confirmation that Ana has breast cancer with brain ramifications. We were hoping that the brain tumors had nothing to do with the tumor in her right breast. The type of tumor she has is very aggressive.

Obviously this is tough news, but we were expecting it. We will offer an even tougher fight.

I don’t want to hear or read any laments. Like Winston Churchill said “I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.”

Everybody has given us so much love and incredible support that I’m almost embarrassed to ask for more, but it’s what we need to help Ana.

We need even more positive energy, more prayers, more blessings, more good vibrations and more faith from all of you.

Ana is a fighter. Her firmness and serenity are admirable. Obviously Ana is scared but we need your help to transform that fear into motivation. That fear must become strength and energy to overcome this. She will accomplish that if she feels the love and support of every person who reads this message or learns of her struggle.

Ana needs a few days to recover strength so that next week she can start with her ray therapy and then the chemotherapy. Ana has always been a very balanced and healthy person so I’m positive she will respond well to the therapies.

I’m back to Churchill “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts”.

The latest CAT scan of her skull was very good. It’s the first time we see a significant reduction of pressure in her brain. She’s eating well which will help her recover strength to initiate the new stage of this struggle.

My dad arrived from Buenos Aires which is great support. Our children went nuts when they saw their grandfather.

We can only succeed in this process if we take it step by step and if we all generate positive energy
